Arise Youth - What We Do

ARISE Big Breakfast A free, weekly breakfast for students. Provides a healthy start to the day, offers supervision and safety for students who arrive at school early.
ARISE Friday Night Youth A free, weekly event where young people can come and have fun, have a free feed, have access to the AYS workers, hear a live band and motivational speaking to equip them for life, as well as be apart of a life group.
Life Groups Running on a weekly basis, life groups are designed for teenagers to build closer relationships and to discuss the struggles, issues and joys of life with an AYS worker. These run as apart of our Friday night event.
School-based youth wokers A team that assists in student support, mentoring and other vital programs. The team is also available on invitation to assist at school events outside the school environment such as camps, survivor days, excursions and more.
Life skills seminars These are an informative and interactive way to deal with topics such as Goal Setting, Relationships, Bullying, Drugs and Alcohol and more. The Arise team is always developing more seminars, which are based on real needs rather than perceived needs.
Motivational Speakers Throughout the year we have access to many specialist youth communicators. These include speakers that are local, national and international. Many of them share their personal issues and struggles and how each young person can overcome the hurdles they face in life.
Entertainment Throughout the year we have access to a variety of bands, comedians and a diverse range of other performers. These include both local and international acts.
New developements Arise Youth Services are continually brainstorming for new programs, such as gender-specific mentoring programs. We will keep you updated on our developments.
